What do u think that caste rules are rigid

caste rules were rigid because they didn't allow the untouchables to do any jobs. they were not allowed to draw water from the village wells, they were not allowed to enter the temples and schools. they were discriminated and had no rights . so by this we can say that Caste rules were rigid. hope this answer help u
