But according to me, It should be juxtaposed in the 17th group.

Because:::
i)All elements in that group form uninegative anions.
ii) All show diatomic property.
iii)Good oxidizing agents.
iv) Combustible and supporter of combustion.
v) Valency 1
vi) Exist as gas
vii) Diameric property
and so on
