What do u understand by idiot box

Idiot box is generally reminds me of television.

The reason are

1. Television decides what you will see unlike youtube and social media where you have the power of authority to decide what you will watch.
2. Television is generally time waste. You can't fast forward or repeat the t.v.
3. Television shows a lot of advertisement unlike internet.

These are basic reasons and I gave up watching television because of these too. So forget that idiot box and pick books and youtube.
