Human resource is different from other resources in many senses. Human resources need education, training and healthcare to develop. On the other hand, land and physical capital need money and physical inputs to develop. Land and physical capital are useless without human resources.

Human resource is different in the following ways:

• Land and other resources are specified, fixed or limited but human resources can be nurtured through education and health.
• Human resource can bring change in other resources, while other resources cannot change or affect human resource.
• Human resource can make use of land and capital. Land and capital cannot become useful on its own.
