Integration is the computation of a definite integral, a fundamental concept of calculus, which allows, among many other users, computing areas and averaging continuous functions.

Integration involves finding the I integral of a function with respect to x, which means finding the area to the x axis from the curve. The integral is usually called as the anti derivative, because integrating is the reverse process of differentiating. The fundamental theorem of calculus shows that anti differentiation is the same as integration.
