Hola!!

●Metals have electrons which can be easily lost without using too much of energy. This makes them a good conductor of heat because heat as well as electricity can pass or conduct through it without any such hindrance.

Example:- Sodium

Hope this helps you ___!!!

Metals are good conductors of heat and electricity because of their lattice structure and delocalized electrons.

The majority of materials that conduct heat and electricity are metals, for the simple reason that metals contain a glut of free electrons.

Metals are good conductors of heat. There are two reasons for this: the close packing of the metal ions in the lattice. the delocalised electrons can carry kinetic energy through the lattice.

silver is the best conductor of both heat and electricity among metals with a thermal conduction value of about 430 W/(mK). Gold and copper both come respectably close to silver, and with Copper being significantly less costly it is often chosen over silver in many applications.
