Solution :-

The big pieces of ice that float on the sea water are called 'Icebergs'.

Icebergs are pieces of ice that formed on land and float in an ocean or sea. Icebergs come in all shapes and sizes. The term "Icebergs" refers to chunks of ice larger than 5 meters across. Smaller icebergs, known as 'bergy bits' or glowers, can be especially dangerous for ships because they are harder to spot. The North Atlantic and the cold waters surrounding Antarctica are home to most of the icebergs on Earth.

Icebergs form when chunks of ice calves, or break off, from glaciers, ice shelves, or a larger iceberg. Icebergs travel with ocean currents, sometimes smashing up against the shore or getting caught in shallow waters.

The big pieces of ice that float on sea water are termed as icebergs.

Icebergs have their density equal to 0.997 g/cm^3. They float on sea with huge part of themselves below the surface of water. They are formed on land and come on surface of water when broken from some glacier. They are quite dangerous for ships sailing on sea because they pose huge damage to ships when collided with them. A number of ships are known to drown when collided from huge icebergs.
