The Indian government is quasi-federal but we can consider it as the combination of both federal and central government as the country consists of three-tier government, like central, state, and Panchayati Raj.

The problems of the nation are taken care by the central government and the problems of each state are solved in the respective state government. Panchayati Raj normally works under the state government only.
