The way the author of Mahabharata, Maharshi Vyas has illustrated the hard facts of life in these stories while entertaining the reader throughout is sheer ingeniousness.
Of all the small Mahabharata stories my grandma told me in childhood and some I learned in my school days, I am most fascinated with the story of Eklavya. The hunter who could have been (or maybe was) the greatest archer. Mostly because I loved archery in my school days though I did not do much in this sport except building small bows out of rubber bands to annoy my friends by striking them with paper balls.
