Because through chapter we get more knowledge than its workbook or any Wikipedia .. in chp u can able to find some difficult words which helps u to increases more knowledge or secondly u will understand that chapter very well when u read the chp again after ur teacher had explain and when some internal que came which was not given on  ur woekbook through chp u can able to write that if u read well
