Explanation:

In Sri Lanka,the majority community dominated the majority community,hence there was a civil war and thousands of people were killed. The economy of Sri Lanka was wrecked.The Story of Sri Lanka was that the power should be shared in order to avoid conflicts. Various Prudential and moral reasons is that power are desirable to ensure stability of the political order, unity and integrity of the country.

India not follow the Belgian model because it is quite complicated and not suitable for a large multi- religious country like ours
