Some common pathogens are -Salmonella Typhi (causes Typhoid), Vibio Cholerae (Causes Cholera) etc.

For example :

1. Pathogen named HIV causes a serious disease called AIDS.

2. Bacterial pathogen named Salmonella typhi is responsible for causing typhoid.

3. Pathogenic protozoan named Plasmodium causes a drastic disease called malaria.
