What do we mean by sheet and gully erosion?

#Sheet erosion :-

♡This occurs when suddenly water flows and bring all the humus or soil alongwith it. 

¥For Ex.

♡Like that of kerala it mostly occur there in flat parts.

¤Gully erosion :-

☆When water cuts the soil and deposit particles there and also brings particles from there then the erosion is said ot be gully erosion.

Sheet erosion and Gully erosion are the two common ways by which soil gets eroded.

Sheet erosion - When there is heavy rainfall, the top layer of a soil over large areas get washed away.

fully erosion -When rainwater in a region flows down the slopes making deep and narrow furrows, it is called Gully erosion. Such gullies make the land unfit for cultivation and result in the formation of badlands , as in the Chambal Valley of Madhya Pradesh (India)
