What do you think about people around you and your country in general?

I love my country (Canada) and I am proud of it. We are not perfect, but we are always trying to find better ways to care for each other.

The people around me come from all parts of the planet, and 99.9% of them are wonderful people. The rest of them have the freedom to change their lives and become wonderful people.

Having people from other parts of the globe is a great way to learn first hand about other cultures without having to travel there. Yes travel is great if you can afford it and if you are healthy enough to do it. But meeting and talking to others can be fun too.

I have met women who did not speak my language but when one of their grandchildren ran to them I had no trouble communicating to them the joy of their grandchildren, how cute the kids were, and how proud they must be. Some feelings are so universal you don’t need language for the basics.
