Revolt of 1857 (Mutiny Revolt) was a soldiers' revolt in Merut (that later spread to Other Parts) . It was because of The Grease Enfield Rifle introduced by British. Rumours spread across Merut Army Camps that the rifle contained Pig&Cow fat . Soldiers revolted... ...and the revolt spread to Kanpur, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, etc.
