What do yo understand by the resultant of two vectors? A body is under the action of two forces 7N and 10N. Find resultant of the two forces if:
(A) the forces are parallel and act in the same direction.
(B) the forces are parallel and act in opposite directions.
(C) the two forces are inclined at an angle of 60° to each other.

Answer:

this is from triangle law of vector analysis . The result of addition of two vectors of same direction will give the resultant.

Explanation:

suppose we have two vectors of same direction namely vector A and vector B . If we arrange them ,we get a new side which is equal to the sum of other two sides that third side is known as the resultant.
