1)It’s round, NOT flat!

2)It’s in trouble from dirty humans not cleaning up after themselves

3)It’s a finite resource: we can’t just scoop it out like a magically renewable container of ice cream.

4)Short of a revolutionary change in the laws of physics, it’s the only place we know OF or can get TO that’s suitable for us to live, so we’d better start doing a better job of getting along, andstart taking points “2 & 3” above seriously.
