The upward and downward currents of air which result from the uneven heating of the air,are known as the convection air currents.

• There are different types of air currents or the flow of the air which are different from each other, due to the different methodologies in the air current generating procedures.

• Similarly, there is an air current which is created due to the uneven heat distribution in the atmosphere. These air currents are known as the convection air currents.

• The solar heat distribution heats up the air and makes it lighter. That's why the air gets an upward motion and then the same air gets cooled down in the upper atmosphere, along with getting a downward motion.
