My observations about blind people is -they are self efficient in most things.

I live in mumbai and local train travelling is daily routine of our life's. If you travel in mumbai you will see atleast one blind person a day. They know exactly on which platform they are. They know where exactly their compartment will come. They wil get down of train in peak hours of day smoothly. They will board train without much struggle. They rarely ask for your guidance. Sometimes I feel amused by their ease of doing things.

Answer:

When approaching a blind person, initiate the greeting using a normal tone of voice. Identify yourself and then inquire if your assistance is desired. If so, touch your hand to the back of their hand as a signal or them to take your arm. Avoid pulling blind people by the hand or tugging at their sleeves.

hope it will help you ✌
