Leftover food is a biodegradable waste which can be converted by microorganism into useful products. So, leftover food along with other kitchen garbage such as vegetables peel, are dumped into compost pit to convert them into manure. This manure can be used for growing plants.

Left over food is waste food and sometimes it is made in home .If it is capable of reuse then using food preservatives it is kept in freeze and if it can't then it is given to survent .
