Answer:

This question is based on the short story 'The Summer Of The Beautiful White Horse' by William Saroyan.

One incident from the story that proves that Uncle Khosrove was a funny character possessing a crazy streak is Uncle Khosrove and John Byro's meeting at Aram's house. This incident took place as follows :

One day John Byro visited Aram's house to inform his mother that his white horse had gone missing more than a month ago. He was very sad about the loss. Uncle Khosrove, who was also present at Aram's house at that moment, refused to show any sympathy or concern for his loss and shouted in his irritable and impatient tone “It’s no harm. What is the loss of a horse? What is this crying over a horse?” He kept on repeating his usual response to all problems “Pay no attention to it” on every sentence said by Byro.

The rude behaviour exhibited by Uncle Khosrove made John Byro react by commenting the price he had to pay for the white horse. This remark further angered Uncle Khosrove who retaliated back : “I spit on money.” John Byro did not have the patience to tolerate it any further and so he stormed out of the house, banging the door in sheer disgus please mark
