Tuberculosis, or TB, is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The bacteria spreads through the air from person to person and mainly attacks the lungs, but it can affect other areas of the body.

The bacteria that cause TB are spread when an infected person coughs or sneezes.

usually there are not any major symptoms but some are;-

  1. a cough (sometimes blood-tinged)
  2. weight loss
  3. night sweats
  4. fever.             treatments are obiviously antibiotics  but it depends if it is a short course or long course  depending upon the stage of infection. therefore  consult a doctor for proper medication .
