Babur (Persian: بابر, translit. Bābur, lit. 'tiger';[2][3] 14 February 1483 – 26 December 1530), born Zahīr ud-Dīn Muhammad, was the ultimate founder and first Emperor of the Mughal dynasty in the Indian subcontinent. He was a direct descendant of Emperor Timur the Great (Tamerlane) from what is now Uzbekistan.[4][5]

Babar's prosperity was fleeting. The partnership with Sh' Isma'il crumbled, and Babar's Uzbeg adversaries quickly came back to the activity. In a progression of fights throughout the following 18 months, they drove Babar out of Farghana and Samarkand. All the more critically, they altogether squashed his armed forces.
Five years of war pursued, during which Babar established the framework of the Mughal realm, building up a line that would govern India until defeat by the Western Europeans.
