Hi there......
Blood vessels carry blood to different parts of our body. They also help in the transportation of nutrients and diffusion of gases.

There are 3 types of blood vessels in our body. They are
->Arteries
->Veins
->Capillaries

Arteries carry blood away from the heart. They carry oxygenated blood(except for pulmonary artery). They have thick muscular walls and narrow lumen. The blood in it flows in spurts.
Veins carry blood towards the heart. They carry deoxygenated blood(except for pulmonary vein). They have thin muscular walls and wider lumen. They have valves that prevent the back flow of blood.
Capillaries are delicate blood vessels. They have no muscles. Their walls are made of single cell epithelium and help in diffusion of gases.

Please comment if any doubt....

Hey AK02 ...bro

here is ur answer. ...

-------BLOOD VESSELS-----

it is a long tubular structure.it transports the blood ,O2 ,CO2 and nutrients to other parts of body .

the blood vessels of the circulatory system are present in each and everyday part of the human body due to which the blood reaches all the parts of the body.

⚛There are three types of blood vessels .

1. Arteries

2 . veins

3 . capillaries

now ...we will describe each of them..

1 . Arteries --Arteries are wide elastic and thik walled vessels .

⚛it carry blood from heart to various part of body.

⚛it supply the blood from heart to various part of body with high pressure .

⚛it's always carries pure and oxygenated blood .

⚛it consists of the three layers .

1 . tunica exterma .
2. Tunica media
3. Tunica interma ...

⚛Arteries have a thick walled and elastic in nature .

⚛ pulmonary artery is an exception it carries impure blood from heart to lungs.

2. VEINS -----Veins are non elastic thick walled vessels .

⚛it carries impure blood from body part to heart .

⚛it supply the blood with low pressure .

⚛it has no layer

⚛they are non elastic in nature ..

3.. CAPILLARIES------Arteries branch divided into smaller and thinner blood vessels called CAPILLARIES---- .

,☸The exchange of various materials like oxygen ,food ,carbon dioxide etc. between the blood and the body cells takes place through cappilerries .

Hope it helps you
