There are three cropping pattern in India:-
# Rabi- crops are sown in winters and harvest in the summers.
e.g- wheat, musturd, gram e.t.c
# Kharif - these crops are sown onset of monsoon and harvest in the month of September to october.
e.g- rice, mower, bajra, corn e.tc
# Zaid- these crops are gown between the summers and harvest in the summers.
e.g- watermelon, muskmelons, cucumber e.t.c
