The Ho Chi minh trail comprised a vast network of roads, Footpaths, secret alleys soldiers and hideouts, running all the way from North to South Vietnam. The trail was used to transport, soldiers and supplies from north to south. Most of the trail passed through Laos and Cambodia branching off into South Vietnam at regular intervals like an arterial network. The trail had support bases and hospitals in various parts to take care of the injured civilians as well as wounded soldiers. Supplies were mostly carried by women potters who carried up to 25kgs on their back and 75 kgs on their bicycles.
