MCB is Miniature Circuit Breaker it is a switch that is operated electronically and automatically. When there is an excess flow or overload of current in the circuit, the MCB detects the same and breaks the circuit at the earliest.
- Fuses are been replaced by these MCB because they are safer.
- Fuses should be replaced but MCB has a switch that needs to be switched on manually.
