Cuscuta is a parasitic plant which is in many colors like red , yellow bt rarely in green color.After it attaches to a Plant or tree... it surrounds all around the plant and it takes all the nutrition of the plant .. Even it covers the plant from all around.

parasitic mode of nutrition is a form of hetrotrophic mode of nutrition where the parasitic organism lived on the body surface of another type of organism called host.
after the dodder attaches itself to the plant it wraps itself around it. if the food is beneficial it produces haustoria that insert itself in the vascular system of the host. the dodder can grow and attach itself to multiple plants . after producing haustoria the root of cuscuta dies .
