The history timeline has innumerable stops one being stone age. Stone Age is considered to be the first ever revolution followed by agricultural, and industrial and scientific revolutions. The Store Age was time when human learnt something called 'innovative'. They learnt the art of making tools and weapons made out of stone. It began around 6,0000 BC. The stone age was followed by bronze and iron ages respectively. Stone age futher classified into Paleolithic, mesolithic, and Neolithic period.
The art of the Stone Age represents the first accomplishments in human creativity, preceding the invention of writing. Paintings, murals, drawings, etchings, are beautiful evidences of Stone age. While numerous artifacts still exist today, the lack of writing skill from this era greatly limits our understanding of prehistoric art and culture.
The Neolithic saw the transformation of nomad human settlements into agrarian society in need of permanent shelter. From this period there is evidence of early rock art also appeared.
The advent of metal working in the Bronze Age brought additional media available for use in making art, an increase stylistic diversity, and the creation of objects that did not have any obvious function other than art. It also saw the development in some areas of artisans, a class of people specialising in the production of art, as well as in early writing system.
