  • Skull is the bony structure that forms the head. Moreover, it offers a protective cavity for the brain and supports the structure of the face.

  • The scientific name of spine is vertebral column. The spinal cord forms the main supporting structure of the body. It is made up of 33 small bones placed one over the other. The small bones which make up the backbone are called vertebrae. Spine supports the head at its top. The shoulder bones, rib bones and hip bones are all joined to the spinal cord.

  • Joints can be defined as a point where two or more bones are connected in a human skeletal system. Joints help in bringing about movements in different parts of the body.
