Pythagoras theorem was discovered by Pythagoras.
It states that in a right angled triangle, where hypotenuse^2 = base^2 + perpendicular or height^2.

Hi friend!!
Pythagoras theorem is only applicable for a right angled triangle.Pythagoras theorem states that sum of squares of sides in a right angled triangle is equal to the square of the length of the hypotenuse.
In the above right angled triangle,
Pythagoras theorem states that
a²+b²=c²
Few examples of Pythagoras triplets are (3,4,5),(5,12,13)
I hope this will help you;)
