Focus is the point on the principle axis of the concave or convex mirror or plane where parallel rays of light (parallel to principle axis ) actually meet after reflection or refraction
if the angle of incidence of the ray of light is not parallel to the principle axis then the ray of light after reflection or refraction meet at a point other than the focus ; which means all the other points where the rays meet after reflection or refraction forms a plane that is perpendicular to the principle axis and passes through the FOCUS this is called as the Focal plane
(one condition is that the source of light must be at al large distance from the mirror ar lens )
