Firstly, you do know something; that you know nothing! :)

Secondly, decide what you want to know about and pursue it. The net has answers to almost all the questions you can ask. Make sure its a genuine site though.

Thirdly, put what you have learnt to use. Even if it is as simple as sharing it with somebody else.

Lastly, don’t burden your brain with useless information which you will never use.

Let me illustrate with a little story. A learned professor was being ferried across the river by a village boatman.

“Can you read?’ questioned the professor. To the which the boatman replied “No sir”

“Then you have wasted 25% of your life, said the professor.” “Can you write?”

Again the boatman replied in the negative. “Oh no, then you have wasted 50% of your life” said the professor”

Then the boatman asked, “Sir, can you swim?” And the professor admitted he couldn’t.

The boatman said, “Then sir, you have wasted 100% of your life”. “Because there is a leak in the boat” And saying this he jumped into the water and swam to safety, leaving the learned professor to drown.

Answer:

It means that no matter how much you know it is a limited amount and probably not much compared to what you don't know/can't understand. On the other hand what you don't know can be anything up to an infinite amount of knowledge way beyond our comprehension.
