a dense body of ice can be referred to as a glacier.
depending on the size and the source(water type) it can form iceberg,sea-ice,ice foe, shuga ice,floeberg,etc too.
all of these are formed due to factors such as temp, weather and weathering,water salinity and density etc.
and densest of all is glaciers which can be as big as a country or continent.they are absolute freezy and are found in the extremes where they can be constant.
