Policy of non-alignment:
- A non-aligned meaning is the principle or practice of not joining any of the two major groups of international powers.
- Non-aligned may apply to the party, which is not aligned with or against a major power bloc, of countries which deem themselves not officially associated. Uncompromising, in a fight. Neutrality, in war: more conservative than unity. (International relations). The movement stresses the concept of solidarity between nations and continues to support peacekeeping.
- Non-Alignment Campaign (NAM) is the largest political-oriented body in world.
- Non-alignment is not necessarily isolationism since isolationism implies that international politics stay aloof.
- In comparison, non-aligned countries like India played an important role in mediating peace and prosperity between the two opposing alliances. The force is founded on its cohesion.
