Answer:

  • 1 Ampere :- when one coulomb of charge pass through a conductor in one second then the current flowing through the conductor is called one ampere.

  • 1 Watt :- When 1 joule of work is done to move a body in one second then the power of that body is called one watt.

  • 1 Dioptre :- 1 Dioptre is defined as the power of lens whose focal length is 1 m (100cm).

P = 1/f (in metre)

Additional Information !!

✧ The flow of charge is called current.

✧ The charge passing per unit time through a given place is the magnitude of electric current at that place.

✧ SI unit of current is Ampere (A).

✧ If one coulomb of charge passing through a place in one second, then the current is said to be one ampere.

✧ Mathematical term

•I = Q/t

here,

  • I is the current
  • Q is the charge
  • t is the time.

1 Ampere :-

  • Current flowed with an electric charge of 1Coulomb in 1second is termed as 1 Ampere.

  • Ampere(A) is the unit of Current.

I = Charge / Time

1 Watt :-

  • When 1J work is done per second is termed as 1Watt.

  • Watt(W) is the unit of Power.

P = Work done / Time

1 Dioptre :-

  • The power of the optical lens when focal length is 1m is termed as 1 Dioptre.

  • Dioptre(D) is the unit of Power.

D = 1/focal length
