S.I. unit of resistance
1 ohm is=1 Volt/1Ampere
When a potential difference is 14 and current through the circuit is one ampere then the resistance is one ohm

According to Ohm's law,
Current flowing in a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference applied across to its ends at constant temperature & physical conditions.
So, According to the definition
V ∝ I
V/I = constant
Put the constant as “r” which indicates the resistance of the conductor.
R = V/I
V = IR
Where
I = current flowing in the conductor
V = potential difference applied across the conductor
R = resistance of the conductor
Unit of Resistance is called omega (Ω)
