the ionic compound which can be formed by neutralization reaction of base and acid is called SALT.

it can be formed if solutions of different salts are mixed, their ions recombine, and the new salt is insoluble and precipitates (see: solubility equilibrium), for example:

Pb(NO3)2 + Na2SO4 = PbSO4 + 2 NaNO3
