✌The word acid is derived from acidus means sour . It means the group of chemical compound which are sour in taste are acids.
✌Almost all the acids contain hydrogen that they can release in water.
✌Acids releases positive Hydrogen ion in water.
➡➡For example - Dissociation of HCl gives positive H ion and negative Cl ion .
