Afforestation: it refers to the process of converting a non-forest land into a forest.
As we know deforestation is increasing day by day.
Deforestation means cutting of trees on large scale.
So, large no. of trees are cutting. Trees gives us O2, food, medicines etc.
If there is no trees then from where these requirements will be fulfill.
To increase no. of trees afforestation is done.
