Air pollution is the contamination of aur with pollutants such as dust , chemicals and fog in the air caused by human activities(Factories) as well as natural causes (Forest Fires) .

Causes :

• Fog from factories

• Ash and dust from vehicals

• Carbon monoxide and other harmful gases formed due to climatic changes .

• CFC gases from fridges and ACs

• Forest Fires

Effects :

• Shortage of fresh air to breathe .

• Diseases like Asthma and Bronchitis

Prevention :

• Factories must work for limited hours and days of the year . They must be away from residential areas .

• Every year 2 days all the factories must be closed .

• Use of public transport . This enables many people to be travelling with less fuel as well as less pollution .

• Use bicycles or walk to nearest distances .

• Plant more trees so that air can be purified .
