Aparthied was the discrimination between the whites and the blacks...
The whites were in majority in South Africa. ..n hence...they gave no rights to black....
The blacks did not get any opportunities to work...coz of them....
If they spoke against white. .they used to b jailed or gave a head cut...
It was again Nelson Mandela who did the same...n he was jailed...After release..he was known the First black to become the president of South Africa...

Apartheid is a system in which a community is discriminated on the basis of caste ,religion ,colour etc
The people of south Africa have separate things to use like black people were not allowed to use white people things . People fought against it by making political organisation and protests.
