Hello!! :D
The Appollonius theorem states that the "the sum of the squares of any two sidesof a triangle is equal to twice the square on half thethird side together with twice the square on the median bisecting the third side

Hope This helps!! :D

sachinH: Apollonius' theorem is proved by using co-ordinate geometry.

it is related to the length of median of triangle to the length of its sides
if in any triangle ABC and AD is its Median then-
  AB^{2} + AC^{2} = 2( AD^2 + BD ^2)

mssrinidhi: where is the statement?
sachinH: Therefore, LM2 + LN2 = (a + b) 2 + c2 + (b - a)2 + c2
= 2(a2 + b2) + 2c2
= 2a2 + 2(b2 + c2)
= 2MO2 + 2LO2
= 2(MO2 + LO2).
= 2(LO2 + MO2). Proved.
