Organic abiotic components include proteins, carbohydrates and fats while inorganic components include salts,water etc.

Some abiotic factors which have profound effect on the biotic components are:

i)Climatic factors:

•Light

•Temperature

•Water

•Wind

•Atmosphere

•Fire

ii)Topographic factors

iii)Edaphic factors.
