It's the upward force exerted by a liquid on an object that's  been partially or completely immersed in that liquid and this upward force is equal in value/magnitude of the weight of the object, or in other words this upward force is equal to the value/magnitude of the weight of liquid displaced by the object.
Is better known as the 'Archimede's Principle'.
