Caste based society means a society which is based on heterogeneous castes I.e. the society which involves many castes... and decisions are also taken by keeping the castes in mind that which type of decisions should be in the favor of different castes..

Castes can also lead to social divisions which can even lead to conflicts. So this shows that castes play a very influential role in the society.
