Centripetal force is the force acting on a body moving in a circular path ,in the direction towards the center of the circular path

steeve: which unit
barsha9: centripetal force
steeve: same as the unit of force
steeve: Newton
barsha9: and what is the dimension
steeve: well it must be direction. which is toward the centre of the circle
barsha9: what is the acceleration produced by a uniform velocity body.
steeve: there is no acceleration produced by a uniform velocity body
steeve: since acceleration is the rate of change of velocity and velocity is uniform so no acceleration is produced
barsha9: tq

A force that acts on an object in a circular way and is directed to the centre around which the object is moving is called the centripetal force.
 It's unit is 'newton'.
