What do you mean by chlor alkali process write chemical equation involved in it and write two uses of each product formed in this reaction?

when electricity is passed through an aqueous solution of sodium chloride, it decomposes to form sodium hydroxide. The process is called the chloro-alkali process-because of the products formed chloro for chlorine and alkali for sodium hydroxide.

Uses of products formed:

H2 - fules,margarine.

Cl2 - PVC,CFC's

NaOH - soaps,paper making
