These are Napoleonic Codes which includes the rules made by the Napoleon .

The civil code of 1804, is also known as the Napoleonic code. Many of the provisions of this code are still used in the Constitutions of many countries.

Some of its provisions are:-

1) Feudal system was abolished.

2) Equality before the law.

3) Right to property was granted.

4) Serfdoms and manorial dues were abolished. (Serfdom means the state of being a feudal labourer.)

5) All privileges based on birth were abolished.
