Dandi March is also known as the Salt March or the Dandi Satyagarha. It was an act of non-violent civil-disobedience in the colonial India led by our Father of India i.e., Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
It lasted for 24-day from 12 March 1930 to 6th of April 1930 as a direct actioncampaign of tax resistance as well as the nonviolent protestagainst the British salt monopoly.
